  "textContent": "\n\n\n\nA woman who killed her partner, cut her in two pieces and buried her in the garden, has been jailed for life.\n\nAnna Podedworna, 40, was on Tuesday found guilty of the murder of her partner, Izabela Zablocka, who went missing in 2010.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nPodedworna was sentenced to life with a minimum term of 21 years at Derby Crown Court on Wednesday.\n\nMs Zablocka was first reported missing in 2010, after moving to the UK from Poland with her partner, Podedworna.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nTRENDING\n\nStories\n\nVideos\n\nYour Say\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nFor almost 15 years, the whereabouts of Ms Zablocka was unknown, while Podedworna denied any knowledge.\n\nThe mother of one shared a phone call with her mother, who was the last person to hear from her, on August 28, 2010.\n\nIt wasn't until May 21, 2025, that Podedworna confessed she had information on the case she wished to share.\n\nThree days later, she told officers where they would find the body, at Princes Street, Derby - the back garden of the house in which they shared.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nProsecutor Gordon Aspden KC said \"mounting pressure\" caused Podedworna to \"crack\", and email the police when a Polish television journalist flew to the UK to interview her.\n\nThe remains of Ms Zablocka was discovered under concrete blocks in the garden of their shared terraced house.\n\nPodedworna, of Boyer Street, Derby, sat in the dock at Derby Crown Court wearing a grey sweatshirt, black glasses and her hair tied in a bun when Mrs Justice Williams KC sentenced her on Wednesday.\n\n**_MORE TO FOLLOW..._**\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n**Our Standards:The GB News Editorial Charter**",
