Spain has beautiful beaches, hot weather and low prices, making it the go-to summer holiday spot for many Britons.

Parts of Spain are also perfect for a last-minute half-term getaway, according to new data by Omio.

It showed Malaga was the most searched for destination by UK holidaymakers planning a trip at this time. This was followed by Lisbon and Madrid, showing a keen interest in quick trips to sunny parts of Europe.

Searches to Malaga have shot up 92 per cent year-on-year, and it is no surprise, with temperatures feeling as high as 20°C in February.
