"textContent": "\n\n\n\nGB News Radio has outperformed all its network rivals, securing the highest year-on-year audience growth in the latest RAJAR figures.\n\nThe number of listeners tuning into GB News Radio jumped from 468,000 in Q4 2024 to 672,000 in Q4 2025, a rise of 44 per cent.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nThis annual audience growth is more than twelve times higher than LBC, almost ten times higher than BBC Radio Four, and over three times larger than Talk.\n\nListening hours have also increased sharply, rising 33 per cent year-on-year, underlining not just a larger audience for _GB News_ Radio, but deeper engagement.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nSeveral programmes delivered exceptional performances too, with some shows recording audience growth of more than 100 per cent year-on-year.\n\nCommenting on the “phenomenal” results, GB News’ Head of Programming, Ben Briscoe, said: “The surge in the number of people turning to GB News Radio over the last year is yet another sign of a growing community now turning to our bold and fearless journalism each and every day.\n\n“We’re seeing growing numbers across all our platforms, and these phenomenal results are down to a team which works tirelessly to tell the stories others ignore.\n\n“The fact that listening hours are up so much is hugely significant. Over 30 per cent of listeners are now aged under 45, according to the RAJAR data.\n\n### GB News: soaring on TV as well as radio\n\n\n\n\nGB News Radio’s growth comes alongside its continued outstanding performance on television.\n\nLatest BARB data shows GB News was Britain’s number one news channel from July 2025 through to the end of January.\n\nThe People’s Channel secured 88,528 average views over that period, ahead of the BBC News Channel on 79,305 and leaving Sky News a distant third on 67,408.\n\nGB News achieved a 1.42 audience share over the same period, exceeding the BBC News Channel (1.27) and Sky News (1.08).\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n**Our Standards:The GB News Editorial Charter **",
