Blind Spots

Last month Turner Classic Moves programmed Host Movie Confessions - where the hosts revealed certain classic films they had never seen. This is always a fun conversation because even the biggest movie-watcher has probably not seen one of "your" favorite movies. Recently, this conversation hit home for me as Smokey and the Bandit came on the air - and my wife was just apalled that I had never seen it.

The movie discussions in this Turner Classic Movies feed are always great but there is a certain level of new excitement whenever someone says "this is a first time watch for me." The chance to see a classic for a first time, or share that experience with someone, is one of the joys of movies.
