Systems and Methods for Determination of Cannabis Impairment Using a Triaxial Gyroscope Assembly

The invention provides systems and methods to determine impairment using gyroscopes to sense impaired movement of a suspect. The system includes a triaxial gyroscope assembly that transmits wireless signals indicative of the movement to a computing device configured to receive and store the signals and compute and display impairment of the suspect based on the signals. The method identifies impairment, including attaching a triaxial gyroscope assembly to a suspect, computing signals indicative of the movement, transmitting the signals to a computing device, and displaying an indicator of impairment on the computing device.
