The bus bars of the assembled battery are each provided with a base in which a plurality of terminal insertion holes , into which electrode terminals of the unit cells A, B are inserted, are formed, and with junction projections , which are present along the electrode terminals , extending from respective regions of the base adjacent to the terminal insertion holes . In the assembled battery disclosed herein, the electrode terminals are in surface contact with the junction projections , and tips , 14of the electrode terminals and tips of the junction projections are welded to each other. As a result, the electrode terminals and the bus bars can be welded to each other while a welding state is checked.",
