The safety apparatus has a separating device as a first safety device designed to separate at least the storage cell from a circuit of the storage device, a short-circuit device as a second safety device designed to short-circuit at least the storage cell, and a degassing unit as a third safety device designed to degas the receiving chamber. The safety devices are designed to successively switch from a deactivated state into an activated state during a critical variation of the condition of the storage cell.",
