A method for producing an electrode material, which is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery electrode material, the method including a granulation step that includes: obtaining a mixed liquid by mixing an inorganic binder aqueous solution containing an inorganic binder that contains a phosphate as a component, and a suspension liquid in which an active material is dispersed in an organic solvent; subjecting the mixed liquid to a heat treatment to vaporize water in the mixed liquid; obtaining a granulated body containing the inorganic binder and the active material, in which the inorganic binder aqueous solution has a solid content concentration of 1 mass % or more and 30 mass % or less.
