A battery module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a cell assembly formed by stacking battery cells and having a pair of electrode leads arranged to face upward, a lower frame having a form in which one side and an opposite side are open in the longitudinal direction and accommodating the cell assembly, a busbar frame assembly coupled to the lower frame and including a busbar frame mounted on the cell assembly, and a plurality of busbar plates fixed onto the busbar frame and electrically connected to the electrode leads of the battery cell.
