BATTERY ABNORMALITY DIAGNOSIS DEVICE AND METHOD

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a battery abnormality diagnosis device for individually diagnosing whether each of a plurality of batteries in a battery system is abnormal can monitor the state of the batteries, individually measure the voltage of the batteries if the state of at least one of the batteries satisfies a predefined diagnosis condition, perform individual balancing on the batteries, and diagnose the occurrence of an abnormality in at least one of the batteries on the basis of a voltage change before and after balancing of each of the batteries.
