A battery cell according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a cell body that accommodates an electrode laminate; and an electrode lead electrically connected to the electrode laminate, wherein the electrode lead may include: a lead body portion provided on one side of the cell body; and a recessed portion that is recessed inwardly from an edge of the lead body portion but is open in a thickness direction of the lead body portion.
