A secondary battery is provided including: a first group of unit electrodes and a second group of unit electrodes stacked in a first direction; first electrode tabs extending from one end of the first group of unit electrodes and joined to each other; second electrode tabs extending from one end of the second group of unit electrodes and joined to each other; and an electrode lead electrically connected to the first electrode tabs and the second electrode tabs, wherein the first electrode tabs comprise a first merge part, a first tab ending part extending substantially parallel to an extension direction of the first group of unit electrodes, and a first connection part connecting the first merge part and the first tab ending part, and the first merge part and the first connection part are connected in a V-shape.
