The apparatus includes a rotary arm that is fixed to a hood of a vehicle, a rotary bracket configured to be rotated in conjunction with the rotary arm when rotation force is applied to the rotary bracket and a first link configured to interconnect the rotary bracket and the rotary arm. A motor unit is fixed to a vehicle body and applies rotation force to the rotary bracket. A controller is configured to receive driving information of the vehicle via an advanced driving assistance system (ADAS) and to set a pop-up height of the hood. The controller operates the motor unit to perform pop-up and restoration of the hood to an original position when a collision is expected based on the received driving information.",
