The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte, wherein the electrolyte comprises a first electrolyte layer facing the negative electrode, and a second electrolyte layer disposed on the first electrolyte layer and facing the positive electrode, the first electrolyte layer has higher ion conductivity than the second electrolyte layer, and lithium ions migrate from the positive electrode by charge to form lithium metal on a negative electrode current collector in the negative electrode.
