Disclosed are an electric vehicle and a power transmission system with dual electric motors and planetary gears. The power transmission system with dual electric motors and planetary gears mainly comprises two identical power transmission subsystems. Each of the power transmission subsystems comprises an electric motor (210, 220) and a speed reducer (120, 130) arranged on a subframe, and the electric motor is connected to an axle shaft (300, 400) via the speed reducer such that a wheel can be driven to rotate. The speed reducer mainly comprises a single-stage cylindrical gear reduction mechanism and a planetary gear reduction mechanism which are in driving connection with each other. The two reduction mechanisms enable the speed reducer to have a relatively high reduction ratio while ensuring a compact layout space, such that the electric vehicle can obtain a better low-speed performance.
