The invention relates to an intelligent detection and tail light control system for automobiles and a control method thereof, including: a detection module used for detecting driving data of the rear vehicle and the subject vehicle; and an intelligent operation module used for performing operation and judgment on the driving data and controlling the tail light based on a judgment result.
