In a hybrid vehicle including a front motor (3) for driving front wheels, and a step-up converter (15) for stepping up voltage from a battery (8) to supply power to the front motor (3), in which power regenerated by rotational force of the front wheel (2) during vehicle deceleration is stepped down by a step-up converter (15) and can be supplied to a battery (8), the hybrid vehicle includes a hybrid control unit (20) which computes maximum input power of the step-up converter (15) and regenerated power of the front motor (3) during vehicle deceleration, and sets a difference obtained by subtracting regenerated power of the front motor (3) from the maximum input power of the step-up converter (15) to the maximum generated power of the generator (7).
