HYDRAULIC PRESSURE GENERATION APPARATUS

A hydraulic pressure generation apparatus (1) according to the present invention includes a base body (100), a motor (24), a reservoir tank (80), a master cylinder (10) which generates a brake hydraulic pressure by a brake manipulator (P) and a slave cylinder (20) which generates a brake hydraulic pressure by means of the motor (24). The base body (100) includes a first cylinder hole (11) which is a blind hole in which the first master cylinder piston (12a) is inserted, a second cylinder hole (21) which is a blind hole in which the second piston (22) of the slave cylinder (20) is inserted and a supply passage (73) which leads from the reservoir tank (80) to a hydraulic chamber (26) of the slave cylinder (20). The supply passage (73) is provided with a check valve (75;76) which permits only inflow of brake fluid from the reservoir tank (80) to a side of the slave cylinder (20) near a brake fluid discharge port (27) of the second cylinder hole (21).
