The present invention provides a vehicle brake hydraulic pressure control apparatus (1) which includes an inlet valve (13), an outlet valve (14), a pump (17) having a drive motor (21) and a control unit (100). The control unit (100) executes a control to return brake fluid accumulated in a reservoir (16) due to a pressure decreasing control to a hydraulic pressure source (5) by driving the motor (21). The control unit (100) includes a target delivery amount calculator (151) configured to calculate a target delivery amount (Vt) which corresponds to an amount of brake fluid discharged per unit of time, a temperature information fetcher (115) configured to acquire a temperature (Tb) of the brake fluid and a drive signal determinator (152) configured to determine a drive signal for the motor (21) based on the target delivery amount (Vt) and the temperature (Tb) of the brake fluid.
