  "textContent": "The invention relates to an arrangement of ancillary units in an internal combustion engine, in particular an internal combustion engine of a commercial vehicle, comprising an electrical machine (24) operable in generator mode and preferably also in motor mode; an expansion machine (25), in particular an expansion machine of a waste heat recovery system for converting waste heat of the internal combustion engine or a engine exhaust brake system into usable energy by means of a steam cycle; and a first group of ancillary units, comprising a water pump (12), a fuel pre-supply pump, a fuel high-pressure pump (15), a power steering pump and an oil pump. The arrangement of ancillary units is designed without belt drive. Furthermore, the individual ancillary units of the first group are electrically driven and/or mechanically driven by a gear drive in operative connection with the internal combustion engine (1). The electrical machine (24) and the expansion machine are in operative connection with the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine (1) via a gear drive.",
