A collision avoidance device includes, for example, a collision avoidance executor that can operate a collision avoidance function for avoiding collision with an object to be avoided; a determiner that determines, when a driver operates a steering, whether to be able to avoid the collision with the object, based on a turning parameter related to a turning by the steering; and a collision avoidance controller that inhibits or ends the execution of the collision avoidance function when the collision with the object to be avoided is determined to be avoidable.
