The invention relates to a voice and/or gesture recognition control device (1) for interior lighting of a motor vehicle comprising a plurality of lighting modules (M n ) each capable of emitting at least one light beam into a passenger compartment (2) of the vehicle. The device comprises at least separate detection means (3, C n ) of a plurality of commands (S n ), voice and/or gesture commands, executed by at least one occupant of the vehicle in specific zones (Z n ) of the passenger compartment (2) targeted by said detection means, said detection means (3, C n ) being capable of transmitting data representative of said commands (S n ) to at least processing and analysis means (4, ECU) configured to merge and prioritize said data and generate, after comparison with reference data, at least one instruction (A n ) to at least one interior lighting module (M n ).
