BICYCLE WHEEL AND RELATIVE MANUFACTURING PROCESS

A bicycle disc or spider wheel (10), comprising: - a hub, - a rim (14) having a radially outer tire-coupling region (26), a first sidewall (52), and a second sidewall (54), - a pair of disc or spider wheel-type structural elements integral with the hub and with the rim (14), wherein said structural elements are pretensioned, - the wheel (10) having an axis of rotation and a median plane, - wherein the first sidewall (52) extends on a first side (A) of the wheel (10), with respect to the median plane, on which a component of a motion transmission system or, when there is none, a disc of a disc brake, is provided at the hub, and the second sidewall (54) extends on the opposite side, with respect to the median plane. The first sidewall (52) of the rim (14) has a minimum distance (d min ) from the median plane smaller than the second sidewall (54) of the rim (14).
