A suspension device (S1) includes an actuator (A) capable of generating a thrust force and a controller (C1). The controller (C1) includes a first vibration suppression force computation unit (12) configured to obtain a first vibration suppression force (F1) from a vertical velocity (Vb) of a sprung member (B), a second vibration suppression force computation unit (13) configured to obtain a second vibration suppression force (F2) from a vertical velocity (Vw) of the unsprung member (W) or a relative velocity (Vs) between the sprung member (B) and the unsprung member (Vw), a low-pass filter (L1) having a breakpoint frequency (Éc) between a sprung resonance frequency (Éb) and an unsprung resonance frequency (Éw) and processing a signal (Fw) in the course of obtaining the second vibration suppression force (F2) using the second vibration suppression force computation unit (13), and a target thrust force computation unit (15) configured to obtain a target thrust force of the actuator (A) on the basis of the first vibration suppression force (F1) and the second vibration suppression force (F2).
