VEHICLE WITH CAMERA DEVICE AND EXTERNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY

The present invention relates to a vehicle (1) with a camera device (2) for capturing images in temporal sequence from an area in a vehicle environment, with a vehicle-side external lighting system (3), whose light-emitting part is at least partially captured by the camera device (2) and which has a semiconductor light source (4), as well as with a display device (5) for the images captured by the camera device (2), wherein a) the external lighting system (3) is assigned a semiconductor light source control device (6), by means of which the semiconductor light source (4) is controlled in a clocked manner for light emission, b) the camera device (2) is assigned a camera control device (7) which is in communicative connection with the semiconductor light source control device (6), and c) the camera control device (7) is configured to c1) control the time point and the duration of each capture of an image of the camera device (2) in dependence on a predetermined or predeterminable parameter such that when the external lighting system (3) is switched on, each capture of each image takes place in a predeterminable relation to the control of the semiconductor light source (4).
