The present invention relates to a fastening device (1) of a vehicle seat comprising: - a support (3), - a hook (2) secured to the support by a pivot axis (4) around which the hook can be oriented between opening and closing positions, the hook being able to be closed to retain the seat, - a first locking element (5) on the hook (2) and a second locking element (28) on the support (3), the pivot axis, the support and the hook being arranged in such a way as to prevent the formation of a rotational moment around the pivot axis in the event of a pulling force on the hook, when the hook is in the closing position, said locking elements being, in the closing position of the hook, in contact and aligned according to the direction of the pulling force.
