END CAP FOR PROFILE COMPRISING A PORTION WITH A U-SHAPED CROSS SECTION

The present invention relates to an end cap for a profile (20) comprising at least one portion with a U-shaped cross-section including a base and two parallel flanges (25) extending transversely to said base, said end cap comprising a body (40) including a front wall (50) capable of covering an end front surface of said U-shaped portion; said end cap comprising a fastening member (60) comprising a stem bearing a self-tapping thread and capable of passing through a circular orifice made in said front wall (50) to screw onto the internal faces of said flanges (25) of the U-shaped portion of the profile (20), said fastening member (60) also comprising a head (62) having a diameter greater than that of said orifice and designed to come into abutment against said front wall (50) at the end of screwing.
