The invention relates to a vehicle seat with an upper part which is mounted in a height-adjustable manner relative to a lower part by means of at least one scissor mechanism, wherein the scissor mechanism comprises a first scissor arm element and a second scissor arm element, which are pivotally mounted about a common axis, wherein the first scissor arm element comprises a first, a second and a third lever element, which are connected in series one after another, wherein the first lever element is pivotally mounted relative to the upper part about a third axis, and wherein the third lever element is pivotally mounted relative to the lower part about a fourth axis, wherein the second lever element is pivotally mounted about the common axis and is rotatably connected to the first lever element by means of a fifth axis and rotatably connected to the third lever element by means of a sixth axis.
