A navigation system which guides a moving body to a destination, includes: a plurality of terminal devices, each installed in one of a plurality of moving bodies; and a center device engaged in communication with the plurality of terminal devices via a communication line, wherein: the center device includes a travel-completion information generation unit that generates travel-completion information pertaining to travel-completed records based upon information related to traveling conditions of one of the plurality of moving bodies, a storage unit in which sets of the travel-completion information corresponding to the plurality of moving bodies are stored, and a route search unit that searches for a recommended route to the destination based upon the sets of the travel-completion information; and the terminal device guides the moving body to the destination based upon the recommended route.
