A throttle valve for the noise reduction of the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle; the throttle valve (1) having a tubular valve body (3) with a longitudinal axis (X) and having at least one side wall (3A), which laterally delimits an inner cavity (4); wherein said inner cavity (4) is, in use, a passage section (4A) for the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle; the throttle valve (1) having a hinge (H) with a rotation axis (Y), said hinge being connected to the side wall (3A), and a shutter (O) which rotates in said inner cavity (4) about the rotation axis (Y) of said hinge (H).
