STUD PIN DRIVING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STUDDED TIRE

An insertion device for inserting stud pins in stud pin insertion holes provided in a tread portion of a tire. The insertion device comprises a profile measuring unit comprising a first profile measuring device that measures a profile of the tread portion of the tire; a hole position identification unit that identifies positions in a tire circumferential direction and positions in a tire lateral direction of the stud pin insertion holes on the basis of the measured profile; and an insertion unit that inserts the stud pins into the stud pin insertion holes, the positions of which are identified.
