A work vehicle includes a belt transmission mechanism (22) that transmits the driving force of the engine (4) to the speed changing device (9), a belt tension clutch (28) that switches over the belt transmission mechanism (22) between a transmitting state for transmitting the driving force to the speed changing device (9) and a non-transmitting state that blocks transmission of the driving force to the speed changing device (9), a brake operating tool (18) for performing a braking operation of a traveling device (2), and a coupling mechanism (35) that activates the belt tension clutch (28) for switching over the belt transmission mechanism (22) into the non-transmitting state, in operative association with a braking operation on the brake operating tool (18).
