The present invention relates to a system and method for efficient heat management of a low-temperature fuel cell fed by a metal hydride storage. With the system according to the invention, discharge temperatures of the metal hydride storage of approximately 180°C can be achieved with low-temperature fuel cells operating at approximately 85°C, for example.
