"textContent": "A vehicle body is described with a device for securing cargo, which comprises a tension strap (10) provided with a tensioning device (13) and attached at attachment points (11, 12) on mutually opposite longitudinal sides of a loading surface (2), as well as a tension strap guide that has two rope strands (14) which are extractable against spring force from a rope storage device (17) around deflection rollers (16) in the corner region between the longitudinal walls (4, 5) and the roof (6) of the vehicle body (3) and engage displaceably on the tension strap (10). In order to obtain advantageous structural relationships, it is proposed that the two deflection rollers (16) are mounted in a hollow cross-member (7) of the roof (6), that the cross-member (7) accommodates between the two deflection rollers (16) a tension spring (22) and the rope storage device (17), which has a rope roller set (18, 19) acted upon by the tension spring (22), displaceable along the cross-member (7), and one held non-displaceably in the cross-member (7), and that the two rope strands (14) form end sections of a rope (20) which is guided back and forth in a loop-forming manner between the two rope roller sets (18, 19).",
