The present invention relates to a vehicle control system for a mobile work machine, wherein the vehicle control system comprises one or more redundantly designed assemblies and at least one common energy source for supplying power to the one or more assemblies, wherein the power supply to the at least one redundantly designed assembly is ensured via at least two galvanically isolated power supply circuits, wherein the at least one redundantly designed assembly is a hydraulic steering wheel rotary spool steering system, wherein a first galvanically isolated power supply circuit supplies at least one vehicle master controller and at least one emergency steering pump controller, while a second galvanically isolated power supply circuit supplies at least one main vehicle drive controller.
