DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROTECTING ARTICULATED VEHICLES

A protective device (1) for vehicles provided with a plurality of carriages, or movable passenger carrying units, comprising: - a frame (2) provided with a receiving cavity (3) extending along a longitudinal direction; - a coupling member (4) provided with a projecting portion (P1) shaped to be inserted into the receiving cavity (3) and a supporting portion (P2) in which a housing cavity (5) is made; - a tubular member (6) configured to be inserted into the housing cavity (5) in such a way as to be coupled to the coupling member (4). - a laminar member (7) defining a bellows (8) and, in use, stably connected directly or indirectly, to the tubular member (6); - at least one pair of locking elements (9A,9B) configured to be inserted in use into the receiving cavity (3) in two different regions in order to lock the coupling member (4) to the frame (2).
