THREE-SEATER BENCH SEAT CONVERTIBLE INTO A TWO-SEATER BENCH SEAT

The invention relates to a bench seat (1, 100) having three aligned seats (2, 102, 3, 103, 4, 104), one of which (3, 103) is in a central position and the other two (2, 102, 4, 104) are in a lateral position, each of said seats (2, 102, 3, 103, 4, 104) having a seat cushion (5, 105, 6, 106, 7, 107) and a backrest (8, 108, 9, 109, 10, 110). The main characteristic of a bench seat (1, 100) according to the invention is that the seat cushion (6, 106) of the central seat (3, 103) is able to fold against the backrest (9, 109) of said seat (3, 103) to constitute with it a compact assembly, and in that said lateral seats (2, 102, 4, 104) are then moved by moving closer to one another until their backrests (8, 108, 10, 110) come into contact with the folded central seat cushion (6, 106), a lower face (15) of said central seat cushion (6, 106) being configured to support two armrests (20, 21, 120).
