The invention relates to a connecting element (2) for connecting a brake disc assembly (1) and a wheel bearing unit (5, 6, 7) for a vehicle. The connecting element (2) comprises a fastening arrangement (3) for releasably fastening the brake disc assembly (1) and a fastening arrangement (4) for releasably fastening to the wheel bearing unit (5, 6, 7), so that the connecting element (2) with the brake disc assembly (1) releasably fastened thereto can be mounted to and/or dismounted from the wheel bearing unit (5, 6, 7) as a unit. The invention also relates to a wheel hub unit (8) having a brake disc assembly (1) and such a connecting element (2).
