The invention relates to an interior trim element (10) for an interior space of a vehicle, comprising at least two inherently flexurally slack trim parts (12, 14), which have respective folded-over end regions (16, 18) and are spaced apart from one another at least in certain areas while forming at least one gap (28) arranged between the trim parts (12, 14) and bounded by respective partial regions (24, 26) of the trim parts (12, 14) adjoining the end regions (16, 18), and comprising at least one inherently flexurally slack decorative element (34), which is supported on the folded-over end regions (16, 18) and is connected to the trim parts (12, 14) via the folded-over end regions (16, 18) and bridges the gap (28).
