Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to lighting an interior of an enclosure using light emitting diodes (LEDs). In one example, a lighting system is provided. The lighting system includes one or more selective light directors (215) having one or more point sources of light disposed along a length of the selective light director, a circuit board (205) coupled to at least one end thereof, and a light emitting diode (210) directing light into the selective light director.
