The controller (30) is configured to determine a lane-position (32) for the vehicle (12) based on a lane-marking (34) of the roadway (20). The controller (30) is also configured to determine an offset-distance (42) of the object (28) relative to the lane-position (32) based on the reflected-signal (26).
