The internal air vent (100) comprises a frame (102), at least one back vane (110) being pivotably connected to the frame (102), two front vanes (112; 112a, 112b) being pivotably and slidably connected to the frame (102). The two front vanes (112; 112a, 112b) two front vanes (112; 112a, 112b) form an opening (114) for the air stream. The internal air vent (100) further comprises a link mechanism (120) operatively connecting the two front vanes (112; 112a, 112b) to the at least one back vane (110), wherein the link mechanism (120) is configured to transfer a sliding motion of the two front vanes (112; 112a, 112b) in the first plane to a pivoting motion of the back vane (110), thereby controlling the redirection of the air stream from the at least one back vane (110).",
