The invention relates to a master cylinder assembly for a hydraulic brake, preferably according to one of the preceding claims, which has a compensating chamber (170, 270, 370, 470, 570), a cylinder (140, 240, 340, 440, 540) in which a piston (150, 250, 350, 450, 550) is displaceably arranged, a pressure chamber (130, 230, 330, 430, 530) arranged in the cylinder (140, 240, 340, 440, 540) which is connected via at least one connecting opening to the compensating chamber (170, 270, 370, 470, 570), a seal (160, 260, 360, 460, 560) for interrupting the connection between the pressure chamber (130, 230, 330, 430, 530) and the compensating chamber (170, 270, 370, 470, 570), and a pressure point adjustment device (190, 290, 390, 490, 590), wherein the pressure point adjustment device (190, 290, 390, 490, 590) is designed and arranged such that the connection between the compensating chamber (170, 270, 370, 470, 570) and the pressure chamber (130, 230, 330, 430, 530) can be interrupted in the rest position.
