Method for synchronizing the countershaft speed in direct gear to reduce the countershaft speed in a transmission (1) for a hybrid application, which has a hybrid drive with an internal combustion engine (21) and an electrical machine (2), wherein the transmission (1) comprises a main transmission (HG) consisting of two partial transmissions connected in parallel with at least one countershaft (VW), as well as an output shaft (3), as well as two planetary gearsets (PG1, PG2) each having the elements carrier (ST1, ST2), sun gear (SR1, SR2) and ring gear (HR1, HR2), wherein each partial transmission has a transmission input shaft (4, 5), wherein a first transmission input shaft (4) is designed as a hollow shaft and a second transmission input shaft (5) is designed as a solid shaft, wherein a first planetary gearset (PG1) connects to the main transmission (HG) as a range group, wherein the main transmission (HG) comprises a first (R1), a second (R2), a third (R3), a fourth (R4) and a fifth gear stage (R5) and a first (S1), a second (S2), a third (S3) and a fourth shifting element (S4), wherein the synchronization of the countershaft speed to a target speed in direct gear (G19) is performed via a speed control of the electrical machine (2).
