The method comprises unfastening first part from the mould, fastening second part to the mould to the same location from which the first part was unfastened, arranging a green tyre into the mould, and vulcanizing the green tyre. Disclosed also is a part for mould for manufacturing a tyre. The part for the mould comprises first surface and second surface opposite the first surface, fixing means on the second surface for attaching the body to the mould for manufacturing the tyre, and post protruding from the first surface.
