The pneumatic tire (10) has a carcass ply (14) and a tread part (18). The carcass ply (14) includes a main body ply (14m) reaching from a tread part (18) to a bead core (12), and a folded ply (14e) folded around the bead core (12). An end part (14u) of the folded ply (14e) extends to a height position beyond a tire maximum width position (SWM). A bead filler height (BFH) is within the range of 20-60% of the tire sectional height (SH). A bead filler width (W2) at a height position (SH3) corresponding to 30% of the tire sectional height (SH) is no greater than 40% of the bead filler root width (W1). A tread width (TW) is at least 81 % of a tire maximum width (SW), and a curvature radius (R) of the carcass ply (14) at an extension line (FL1) extending in a tread width direction (W) and passing the tire maximum width position (SWM) in a cross section in the direction of tire width is at least 30 mm.
