A cleaning brush (10) has a connection pin (2) arranged at a first lower end for clamping in the chuck of a machine with a rotating drive shaft for rotating the cleaning brush (10) about its longitudinal axis (6). The cleaning brush (10) has a rounded bristle carrier (1) arranged at a second upper end with holes (3) distributed over its lateral surface, in which bristle bundles (4) each consisting of a plurality of bristles (5) are attached. The bristles (5) of at least two bristle bundles (4) arranged adjacent along the longitudinal axis (6) are bent in the direction of the longitudinal axis (6) such that the bristles (5) of the first bristle bundle (4) arranged closer to the connection pin (2) at least partially overlap the bristles (5) of the second bristle bundle (4) arranged further away from the connection pin (2).
