A headrest assembly comprising a body and a pair of side wings that project from the body and are spaced apart to accommodate a person's head between generally opposed inside faces of the side wings. The assembly further includes opposed chin support members mounted to the respective side wings for movement between a retracted condition adjacent the side wing and an extended and inclined condition in which they are positioned to provide a chin and/or jaw support for a person's head when accommodated between the side wings, and a common or respective mechanisms, each including a hand operable actuator separate from the chin support members, operable to move the respective chin support members at least from their retracted condition to the extended condition.
