An inflatable protective device including an inflatable member, an inflator device designed to be coupled to the inflatable member for inflating the inflatable member, and at least one protection sleeve. The at least one protection sleeve has an operative portion extending inside the inflatable member for putting the at least one protection sleeve in fluid communication with the inflatable member. The at least one protection sleeve includes stiffening means arranged at the operative portion for maintaining in fluid communication the at least one protection sleeve with the inflatable member.
