An example operation includes one or more of receiving a first charge request to reserve a charging station from a first vehicle, determining a state-of-charge (SOC) of a battery of the first vehicle and an estimated time of arrival (ETA) of the first vehicle at the charging station, temporarily assigning a queue position of the charging station to the first vehicle, receiving a second charge request from a second vehicle while the queue position temporarily assigned to the first vehicle is still waiting, determining a charging urgency of the second vehicle is greater than the first vehicle based on a SOC of a battery of the second vehicle and an ETA of the second vehicle at the charging station, and re-assigning the queue position to the second vehicle and assigning a different queue position to the first vehicle.
